What you'll do
Switch on automatic reminders so that any invoice past its due date gets a polite, escalating nudge — without you lifting a finger.
Before you start
- You've added at least one customer and sent one invoice.
- Your business mobile number is on file (so texts come from you).
Step 1 — Open Settings
From your dashboard, go to Settings. Everything about how and when you reach customers lives here.
Step 2 — Choose when chasing starts
Pick how many days after the due date the first reminder goes out. Seven days is a good default — early enough to matter, late enough to stay friendly.
Step 3 — Review the sequence
The reminder sequence is already tuned for your trade: a friendly first text, a follow-up that mentions fee-free bank transfer, and a firm-but-polite final notice. Adjust the timing if you like, or leave it.
Step 4 — Make it sound like you (optional)
Read the first message and tweak the wording to match how you talk. Save it once — the system remembers your voice for next time.
Step 5 — Turn it on
Flip reminders on. From here, any eligible overdue invoice gets picked up automatically.
What happens next
You'll get a heads-up when the first reminder sends, and again when the money lands. That's it — no spreadsheets, no awkward calls.
